This week, we packed our cases and headed to London to attend the CIPR Excellence Awards. After our success at Digital DNA a few weeks back, we were crossing our fingers as we prepared to close out Mitso’s 2022 award season in style.
Mitso was nominated for Best Tourism, Travel or Leisure Campaign, for our work with Colin Glen to launch their new world-class attractions. We were very excited to be nominated and to be shortlisted alongside some of the industry’s biggest and best agencies.
After a quick flight across the pond, our whistle-stop visit to East London had us enjoying the sights of nearby Shoreditch (and hunting down the nearest Honest Burger along the way!), checking into our AirBnB, and enjoying some glam time before heading to the ceremony for the night.
With champagne in hand, we were welcomed to City Central at the HAC and took our places at our table alongside the lovely Fanclub PR and Grant Thornton teams. It was great to meet with fellow creative minds and even spot a few familiar faces in the crowd, as we celebrated the best campaigns of the year. We also had the chance to say hello to the hosting CIPR team, and the indelible MC, Jason Mohammed.
Unfortunately, Mitso didn’t win this time around, but we were still thrilled to be there and to have our work recognised at a national level. All was not lost, as we spent the night networking, hitting the dancefloor and enjoying the on-site funfair!
To finish off our visit, we met with an exciting new client to discuss a new brand and digital strategy before setting off to catch our flight home! Keep your eyes peeled for more news very soon…
