E-Commerce Funding Support Available
Last month, we were thrilled to take home eCommerce Project of the Year at the 2022 Digital DNA Awards, for our work with Colin Glen.
We’re passionate about helping businesses to digitally transform, and as approved Enterprise Ireland and InterTrade Ireland consultants, we’re even more passionate about seeing new funding opportunities that will help our clients to excel in digital sales.
Here are three grants available to help you take your next steps as an online business:
Rural Business Development Grant, NMD Council
This grant provides investment support for the development of existing businesses in a rural area of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.
The capital-only grants are available up to a maximum grant of £4,999 (up to 50% of the total project cost) and include support fore-commerce websites.
Applications close on 31st May 2022 at 12noon, and a mandatory pre-funding workshop must be attended prior to applying for the scheme (Hurry! The only date left is next Tuesday, 17th May)

Online Retail Scheme, Enterprise Ireland
This grant offers financial assistance for Irish retailers who have 10 or more full-time employees and have the potential to sustain or create jobs, generate growth in online transactions and who have an ambition to internationalise their business in future.
Grants of up to €64,000 are available, and there are a number of key eligibility criteria which can be reviewed here >>>
The closing date for this scheme is 1st June at12noon. Note, you can select Mitso as your preferred consultant for this scheme.
Digital Sales Supports, InterTradeIreland
InterTradeIreland’s Digital Sales Supports are designed to help SMEs improve and expand their online presence in the cross-border market and beyond. They aim to encourage companies to develop their digital sales capability and implement digital marketing and e-commerce solutions. Tailored multi-layer support will be offered to meet individual company requirements, providing five days of fully-funded consultancy over 12 weeks, to the value of £2,500.
